    Blog # 1703

Day 1717 ( That's One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventeen Days ) Since the Start of the  Current ( Second )   Russian Invasion of UKRAINE .

                                                         Glory To UKRAINE

Howdy folks. Here's a few cards that arrived recently. Today's first card is from Osaka, Japan.
It's a look at the autumn leaves of Kyoto. A mix of brown, gold, red and green leaves.

Kotoko sent this card , it's her second and she always uses lots of stamp. The left stamp on the top is a Greeting stamp , issued in 2021. The next stamp is a definitive from 2014, featuring a Mountain Hare. Now for the three on the right side. The top stamp is from 1993, 1 of 2 in a set issued for the 15th International Botanic Congress. The middle stamp is from 1965, 1 of 2 , issued for Aso Park. The bottom stamp is from a set of 5 issued in 1964 for the Olympic Games.

Card # 2 is from Taiwan. It's the  2026 World Postcard Day card Paper Bridges by Christina Liew Jia Hui. It shows a Taiwan Blue Magpie .

Dori used a Dragonfly stamp from a year 2000 set of 4.

It's that time , time for the last card for today. It arrived from Austria. It a reproduction of a photo called " Julie I Parktown Johannesburg 2016 " by Zanele Muholi. That's a lot of old newspapers stacked up !!

Yvonne used a couple of 2026 stamps on her card.  The left stamp showcases Austrian writer and poet Friederike Mayrocker.  The right stamp celebrates 30 years of the Rainbow Parade.

As you all know, all god things come to an end, so to this blog, but just for today. Thanks to Kotoko, Dori, and Yvonne for their cards and stamps.

Take care.

I know you readers are seeing a lot of orange. I am sorry , but I don't know where it comes from or how to make it disappear. It appears to be a recurring on again , off again thing. But it's driving me bananas .
