I Need A Title Today Blog !

Well hello again, I really can't believe it's been a week since I last updated the blog. Time sure does seem to fly by sometimes. I guess that's just how it goes.
Now on to the postcards for today.
First up is this card showing a tram of the Seaton Tramway, in Seaton, Devon, England. Shown is Tran 12 at Colyton Station. It was built in 1966 as an enclosed single-decker, but rebuilt in in 1980 as an open-topper. Seaton is a large seaside town on the south coast of England, while Colyton is a small town just 3 miles away. Seaton sits on the 155 km long Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site, more commonly known as the Jurassic Coast. It was inscribed on the World Heritage Sites list in 2001.

Valerie , a Postcrosser who lives in the town of Royal Leamington Spa sent this card. The town was called "the happiest place in the UK " last year. Apparently visitors often remark " you know, I think I could live here " . Sounds like a good place to be from. Valerie used 2 great looking stamps on her card. On the left is a stamp from 2004, 1 of a set of 6 showing Ocean Liners- this one highlights the SS City of New York. The other stamp was issued in 2002, 1 of a set of 5 commemorating the 17th Commonwealth Games.

My second card today is a fine Aviation related postcard. The card doesn't indicate which aircraft type it is, but I'm going with the Airbus A380. If anyone recognizes it as an Airbus A340, it would be nice to know for sure.

Anna from Moscow sent this card. Unfortunately she used 3 of the 2009 Kremlin Building definitives, which I no longer show on my blog, simply because I'm sure everyone in the world has seen them by now.

Now for something a little different. This card, from the museum in Aumetz, shows a V1 - a flying bomb and the first cruise missile in the history of aeronautics. The V1 was used during the Second World War by Nazi Germany against the United Kingdom and Belgium. The V1 shown on the card is in the Aumetz museum, it was reconstructed after it was found dismantled, with some pieces actually buried by the Germans.

Dominique used a 2015 stamp celebrating Jacques II de Chabannes.

Next up is Cromer, England - a small town on the north coast of the county of Norfolk. The card shows Cromer Pier, a 151 meter pier - itès kind of unique as it has the only end of pier theatre , with a 510 seater entertainment venue featuring live cabaret and comedy.

This is my second card from Lonlywander. I do believe though that the first card was signed Lone Wanderer.  As I wrote after the first card, I have no idea who Lonlywander is , I would love to know though. If you're reading this drop me an email , if you want, to glennemoores@gmail.com and introduce yourself.
The stamp on this one is from a 2018 set of 6 featuring Reintroduced Species- this one is the Eurasian Beaver.

My last card for this time is from Kalisz, Poland. The city in central Poland is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, cities in the country. Magda sent a card showing one of the churches in the city along with a view of some other buildings.

Magda used 2 definitives from 2015 showing Flowers and Fruits.

There you go, another update ends. Thanks for cards today go out to Valerie, Anna, Dominique, Lonlywander, and Magda. Great cards for sure.
Take care now.
