Another Bunch of Fine Cards

It's time for another update with another bunch of cards from all over.
First up is this great view of the Central Post Office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The building was constructed when Vietnam was part of French Indochina, in the late 19th century, between 1886 and 1891.

This is another great card from Jobbo. A couple of nice stamps , too. The middle stamp is from 2013, 1 of 3, in a set of Traditional Fighting Sports. The flower stamp on the right , also from a set of 3 issued in 2013 , showcases Orchids.

Next up is another card for my Airline / Aviation card collection. It's from faraway Nauru, a tiny island country in Micronesia, in the central Pacific. The aircraft on the card is in an Air Nauru livery.

David sent this card back in April and it only arrived here in Canada a couple days ago. But it did arrive, and that's what counts.
David used a WWF Tropical Fish stamp from 2003. It's from a set of 4.

My 3rd card for today is from France. It's a look at the walled city of Saint Malo, in northwest France. The city was once a stronghold for privateers. Interestingly, famous French explorer Jacques Cartier, lived in and sailed from Saint Malo . He perhaps could be credited as the discoverer of Canada as he sailed the St Lawerence River and  visited the sites of Quebec City and Montreal.

Dominique used a 2015 stamp, a Joint Issue with Mauritius, marking 300 Years of the French Arrival in Mauritius.

Well there it is , another update in the books. For today's cards I have to thank Jobbo, David and Dominique. Fine cards all around. Hope you all enjoyed seeing these cards , and hopefully that will be enough for you to come back again soon.  Take care.
